Brief

Create a magazine layout for a publication that covers a wide range of topics for a wide range of audiences, with grids that can be utilized for all future issues.

Audience
All adults 25-65, all genders

Topics
All topics, from Travel, Politics, Relationships, to Interviews, and more

Masthead Development

Covers
For the masthead and images within the publication I echoed the theme of edge to edge imagery. I use the contrast of the two typefaces to create contrast, instead of using 1 typeface with high contrast, since those can come off as targeting a specific audience.

Content
I chose very neutral type and colours that appeals to all genders so it could be applicable to all kinds of articles and audiences. I continued playing with the bleeds with the images in the content, and used full spread images to connect pages that had that same article.
I was also interested in seeing how the whole Roboto family works together.
