Brief
Design a logo for an artisan, handmade small leather goods business.

Design Rationale
The unique shape and quality of a hand stitch cannot be replicated by a machine, so I wanted to included this stitch into the monogram of the business name. The sharp edges and high contrast speak to the clean, high-end mood the client wanted while still being able to be stamped into leather. The negative space between the Y and L shows the edge of a chisel, a common leather-working tool.
